Product Development Engineer

Activities:

-Develop localized Virgin/recycled product formulations in co-operation with Europe and China teams

-Co-operate with technical teams to optimize formulations

-Support laboratory and quality teams to analyse test results

-Find local recycled or virgin raw materials in localized formulations

-Audit local raw materials suppliers according to automotive industry quality standards such as VDA6.3

-Co-operate with technical teams to develop new virgin/recycled productions

-Follow-up product development processed with Europe and China teams

-Implement the formulations released by Europe R&D team

-Support technical service teams to solve technical problems

-Operate polit line to produce samples for customer trials

-Validate new grades in OEM as required by the customers or technical service engineer

-Backup of technical engineers

-Related works as required

Qualifications:

-University graduates major Polymers or Chemical background

-At least 5 years in polypropylene compound R&D and new product development

-Strong knowledge of injection moulding equipment and processes, able to attend mould trial and advise customers

-English with good communication
