About the Client

Our client is a China-based trading and manufacturing business. Currently they are building up a neat office in Hong Kong and are recruiting an experienced and hands-on Finance and Operation Manager in their Hong Kong office.

About the Role

Supervise day-to-day financial control of multiple Hong Kong and overseas-affiliated entities. Establish and standardise financial workflows for overseas companies to ensure compliant and efficient financial operations.

Independently complete full-cycle accounting for Hong Kong companies. Take charge of Hong Kong tax-compliance management and annual audit liaison, and coordinate inspections carried out by external tax and audit authorities.

Oversee Hong Kong-based corporate bank accounts, cross-border payments, fund deployment and cash-flow control. Streamline capital-transaction procedures and mitigate treasury-related risks.

Lead inter-entity account reconciliation, related-party-transaction accounting and clearing of inter-company balances across the group. Resolve cross-regional accounting discrepancies and ensure inter-company data is authentic and accurate.

Produce standardised monthly financial and operational reports. Conduct financial-data analysis and business reviews, provide recommendations for operational improvement and deliver data-backed support for management decision-making.

Maintain regular liaison with business and finance teams in Shenzhen, Hong Kong and overseas markets. Deliver cross-border financial alignment, data synchronisation and process coordination, and resolve financial issues arising from international-based business activities.

Proactively identify potential financial risks, escalate issues promptly, develop improvement plans and drive remedial actions. Continuously upgrade cross-border financial workflows and internal-control systems.

The Successful Applicant

Candidates have full working rights for Hong Kong, well-versed in Hong Kong finance, taxation, banking and local regulatory compliance requirements.

6-15 years of full-time finance experience, with proven capabilities in end-to-end financial leadership and cross-border finance governance.

Hands-on finance experience in international trade, supply-chain, logistics, cross-border e-commerce, consumer goods or multinational corporations; familiar with the financial workflows of cross-border-focused businesses.

Track-record of managing multiple Hong Kong companies, with practical experience coordinating finance work for Mainland China and overseas-affiliated entities.

Experienced in multi-entity and multi-currency accounting; practical exposure to cross-border treasury management and inter-company reconciliation.

Proficient in the full workflow of Hong Kong full-set accounting, annual audit and profits-tax filing; fully familiar with Hong Kong financial-compliance standards.
