Cloud Solutions Architect

Your role

As an Alibaba Cloud Solutions Architect, you'll join the China

IT organization, which sets the technology direction and standards supporting

business areas across Atlas Copco China entities. You'll work in a team focused

on architecture, security, and cloud governance in China and in close alignment

with Atlas Copco Group IT - helping us build scalable, secure, and future-ready

cloud solutions for our China operations.

The Alibaba Cloud Solutions Architect provides resilient and

efficient cloud solutions on Alibaba Cloud that support and accelerate business

objectives in China. This role continuously enhances operations and maintains

stable, secure, and well-governed environments across all cloud services in the

China region, while meeting local regulatory expectations and Atlas Copco Group

standards.

Responsibilities

·

Act as Atlas Copco's main technical point of

contact towards Alibaba Cloud, coordinating solution discussions, validating

proposals and effort estimates, and escalating technical risks and blockers.

·

Participate in designing the China cloud

foundation — landing zone, identity and access, connectivity and network

topology — in alignment with Alibaba Cloud and Atlas Copco Group IT (Enterprise

Architecture, CCoE, IAM and Security).

·

Translate business requirements into secure,

scalable Alibaba Cloud solutions, acting as a trusted partner to business and

IT teams in China.

·

Support the migration of workloads from Azure

China to Alibaba Cloud, covering compute, databases, storage and containers,

together with Group IT and implementation partners.

·

Ensure operational excellence across the China

cloud environment through proactive monitoring, automation, Infrastructure as

Code and CI/CD practices.

·

Optimize performance, reliability and

cost-efficiency, and drive continuous improvement of the platform.

·

Apply Group security, compliance and governance

standards to the China cloud platform, including MLPS 2.0 and PIPL

requirements, and maintain accurate documentation.

To

succeed, you will need

Work experiences/Hard skills:

·

Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science or

similar, or equivalent through relevant work experience.

·

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or

cloud engineering, with hands-on Alibaba Cloud experience.

·

Experience working with cloud vendors and

implementation partners — able to challenge proposals constructively and hold

suppliers to account.

·

Expertise in Alibaba Cloud services (PaaS &

IaaS) – such as ECS, ApsaraDB RDS and PolarDB, OSS, ACK and SAE, VPC, CEN, RAM.

·

Cloud networking (VPC, VPN, Express Connect,

firewalls, DNS).

·

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Resource

Orchestration Service templates).

·

Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python,

Bash).

· Practical

understanding of the Chinese regulatory environment for IT, in particular MLPS

2.0 and PIPL, and of cross-border data transfer considerations.

· Working

knowledge of Microsoft Azure, sufficient to analyze source workloads and map

them accurately to Alibaba Cloud equivalents.

· Fluent

Mandarin and advanced English, both written and spoken.
