PROCUREMENT SUPERVISOR

岗位职责
1、Interpret and exemplify the Vision/Mission of the function to instill a customer-oriented mentality to the team;
2、Develop responsible categories procurement strategy/policies, lead key process improvements;
3、Follow school policies in procurement;
4、Maintain highly positive stakeholder relationships;
5、Represent the procurement function to negotiate and establish contracts for significant supply relationships;
6、Design and implement vendor selection/certification and measurement program;
7、Accept and scrutinize vendor bids and proposals;
8、Investigate where to purchase orders and qualify vendors;
9、Arrange vendor contracts, bargain for best value for the school and observe quality of purchased materials;
10、Ensure the procurement team is delivering agreed levels of service; initiate and coordinate actions to address issues related to underperforming categories and suppliers;
11、Take responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having impact on people, costs, and/or service within the procurement function;
12、Ensure accurate work quality;
13、Lead internal audit and control to ensure policy compliance;
14、Prepare reports and required documentation for administrators;
15、Other duties as assigned.

2、Ability to interact with vendors and related offices in Shanghai American School;
3、Proven procurement experience in the professional service industry, solid understanding of procurement concepts, processes, technology and best practices;
4、Product knowledge desired;
5、Field experience of strategic sourcing and supplier management;
6、Results oriented, strong analytical and organizational skills;
6、Strategic thinking;
7、Ability to establish presence and credibility with diverse stakeholders; proven ability to interact and work with senior executives as necessary;
8、Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills;
9、Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner;
10、Business and market trend transformation awareness ;
11、High standards of ethical integrity and professional conduct;
12、Detail oriented, dependable, analytical and able to keep up in a fast paced environment;
13、Ability to work efficiently and independently in a busy work environment;
14、Fluent in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written;
15、Bachelor's Degree or above;
16、Minimum 5-years working experience, supply chain management could be also considered.
