We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist to join our Antibody Discovery team. The successful candidate will support the discovery and characterization of therapeutic antibodies and participate in the validation of novel biological mechanisms and therapeutic targets. This role requires strong hands-on experience in cell-based and immunological assays, along with a passion for scientific exploration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Support or lead antibody discovery projects from target identification and validation through PCC nomination, including target assessment, mechanism investigation, assay strategy development, antibody screening and characterization, candidate selection, and project decision-making. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive project execution and achieve critical development milestones.
Establish, optimize, and execute in vitro experiments, including protein-based binding assays and cell-based functional assays, for antibody screening and characterization.
Independently perform and analyze immunological assays, including but not limited to: flow cytometry (FACS), ELISA, cell viability and cytotoxicity assays, cytokine detection assays, immune cell functional assays
Analyze experimental data and prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with laboratory procedures and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to advance antibody discovery programs.
Continuously explore emerging biological mechanisms, therapeutic targets, and innovative technologies relevant to antibody therapeutics.
Required
Master's degree or above in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related life science disciplines.
Hands-on experience with cell culture and cell-based assays.
Solid experience with common immunology techniques, including FACS, ELISA, and immune cell functional assays
Strong understanding of basic immunology and cellular biology principles.
Ability to independently execute experiments and troubleshoot technical challenges.
Good data analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred
Experience in antibody discovery, antibody characterization, bispecific antibodies, T-cell engagers, immune-oncology, or autoimmune disease research.
Experience working with primary immune cells, including T cells, B cells, NK cells, monocytes, or dendritic cells.
Familiarity with FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, or similar scientific analysis software.
Knowledge of antibody pharmacology, mechanism-of-action studies, or target validation is a plus.
