Material Planner

The Seq Material Planner is responsible for managing the flow of materials, supplies, abnormal situation handling. This includes coordinating suppliers， internal warehouse, production team, product team et… to meet production or project

deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Support on Scania Production on material planning jobs, main

responsibilities are below but not limited:

· Follow JIS method, call off to sequence suppliers to support Scania production schedules.

· Work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve supply issues.

· Collaborate with procurement teams to place and track purchase orders.

· Evaluate supplier performance and lead times to improve reliability.

· Coordinate with production planners to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.

· Adjust material plans based on changes in demand, production delays, or supply chain disruptions.

· Scania new parts introduction, follow introduction process, make related parameters ready in system, support on material call off.

· Monitor stock levels to understand for parts status for trucks or part period.

· Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve bottlenecks.

· SAP program participation and implementation, improving system flow based business requirement

· Other tasks manager assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.

Experience:

· 5+ years in material coordination, inventory control, or procurement.

Skill:

· Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP)

Soft Skills:

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Fluent English communication (written/verbal).
