Based in Hangzhou, China, the Tax Specialist will be responsible for corporate tax compliance engagement and tax advisory/execution for global expansion:
1、Ensuring all entities and activities in the relevant regions meet and maintain all tax compliance requirements across all the relevant taxes including corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and withholding taxes.
2、Advise on new products, contracts and markets and changes in tax law as group expands, aligning with other internal Legal, Accounting & Reporting, Human Resources and Commercial and Business Unit Finance. Proactively seeking resolution of issues.
3、Accountable for statutory accounts disclosure notes in relation to tax and resolving all tax related issues with year-end statutory audit team and monthly accounting for tax.
4、Leading on VAT & CIT compliance and advisory projects and providing day to day advice on commercial initiatives.
5、Liaison with Group Transfer Pricing team and the external consulting agency to ensure local requirements and obligations are fully met.
6、Implement processes and procedures which optimize use of internal resource and external advisors.
7、Effectively deal with local tax authorities to solve tax issues and minimize tax risks.
8、Research and analyze impact of tax legislation and regulatory proposals, and assist with communications to management.
岗位要求
Requirements for the position:
1、 University degree, with advanced degree or professional qualification in tax or law preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.);
2、 Minimum of 5 years working experience (in house corporate tax experience + tax firm experience is preferred);
3、 Knowledge of international taxation laws and regulations;
4、 Strong commercial sense and issue-solving ability;
5、 Should have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills both in Chinese and English;
6、 Should be proactive and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines with ability to multi-task.
