Core Responsibilities
1. Perform mechanical structure design and component release for motor products; create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings according to chief engineer's specifications, with cost estimation.
2. Establish, maintain, and release complete motor BOMs.
3. Select materials, conduct strength/fatigue analysis, perform independent tolerance fit calculations, and finish calculation reports.
4. Finish technical documentation for motors and associated components, including design specifications, DFMEA, design review reports, and product datasheets.
5. Handle critical parts selection and technical discussion with suppliers.
6. Participate in prototype fabrication, assembly, and commissioning; provide technical support during PPS and PS phases.
7. Contribute to the development of motor manufacturing processes.
8. Collaborate with process, quality, and production teams to resolve structure-related issues during prototyping and mass production.
9. Continuously improving and optimizing motor design methods to establish product performance and cost advantages.
10. Perform other tasks assigned by manager.
Requirements
Basic Requirements
· Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Design, Manufacturing & Automation, Mechatronics), Engineering Mechanics (Aerodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Rotor Dynamics), or other related disciplines.
· Software: Proficient in using 3D modeling and engineering drawing software, with preference for NX (UG); experience with Pro/E or CATIA is also acceptable.
· Experience: 3+ years of component design experience, with a solid grasp of the full development cycle from concept to design to mass production.
· Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical design capability; familiar with design methods and machining processes for metal and plastic parts; sound knowledge of mechanical principles, tolerance fits, and engineering materials.
· Language: Working proficiency in English.
· Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience in BMC motor design.
· Background in aerodynamics, rotor dynamics, or fluid mechanics.
· Familiarity with ANSYS or similar software for static and dynamic analysis.
