HVB System Engineer

Brief description of the position:

The system engineer adopts a holistic perspective of the high-voltage battery system. Guided by requirements, collaborate closely with external component responsible persons and internal subsystem/component responsible persons to ensure that separate, specialized development activities come together to create a product meeting all necessary requirements.

Key Tasks:

Conceptual design of the HV battery system in concept phase

Coordination of project-specific requirement sets (MIP, LAH, etc.) based on master requirement set. Including requirement derivation and allocation.

Securing the fulfillment of requirements and binding obligations at the system level.

Coordination of technical problem solving among professions to achieve optimal result at the system level.

Evaluation of consequences of deviations from a holistic technical perspective and formulation of a statement.

Definition of criteria (checklist, etc.) and verification for design freezes and releases.

Support in product optimization, including cost reduction.

Coordination of project-specific evaluation and compliance check according to target market and/or global standards & regulations.

Ensure consistancy and tracebility of documentation in overall system development phases.

Support of technical design in case of in-house development.
