Brief description of the position:
A Connectivity Operations Specialist is the front line expert responsible for ensuring that the digital lifeline between vehicles and the cloud is always active, secure, and performing optimally. Your main responsibility will be to assure and enable the L3 support in the operational chain with partners and supplier and integrate this level to the overall customer operational process.
Key Tasks:
Build up the incident Management & Troubleshooting together with the DevOps partner CARIAD and make sure the SLA's are in place.
Design end-to-end operational chain with other business units connecting L1, L2 and L3 support together.
Coordinate the escalation to the customer service teams if a customer issue is not solved in a timely manner.
Partner with IT, Aftersales and Smart Quality departments to build a front line and knowledge based to handle all customer issues.
Integrate to the aftersales diagnostics process, to solve issues more efficiently.
Organize and participate regular cross-functional review meeting
Resolve the conflicts between different connectivity services development in case of objective conflict and track implementation progress
Track progress of decision implementation of services within its ownership
Undertake other tasks assigned by direct supervisor
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education: Bachelor degree in information technology, computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or a related field
Working experience: 2-3 years of experience in connectivity operations / data/ backend project management experiences with automotive or smart devices
Knowledge, skills and others:
- Expertise in vehicle connectivity, connected car and operational processes (L1, L2, L3) after the vehicle has been released.
- Customer centric and understanding the support processes in connected & intelligent car area.
- Knowledge in a broad range of connectivity/Mobile App/Cloud domains, including infrastructure, networking, systems administration, software development, and security.
- Understanding of modern IT technologies, tools, and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge and technical understanding of Mobile Online Services is preferred
- Proficient in English (German is a plus)
