Senior Scientist, Translational Medicine
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver translational strategies to bridge the gap between preclinical and clinical stages, integrate translational medicine insights into clinical development plans, and reverse translate clinical findings into the development and optimization of next generation drug product.
2. Represent the translational team as the key point of contact at study level, work closely with research and clinical teams to ensure alignment of biomarker strategies, contribute to drafting and finalizing clinical protocols.
3. Serve as a point of contact for external vendors and collaborators at study level, lead CRO selection, ensure method development and tech transfer.
4. Apply expertise in biomarker discovery and MOA studies, address emerging biomarker data generated internally or externally, responsible for data review and interpretation, understand its clinical relevance.
5. Effectively communicate translational medicine strategies, findings, and implications with internal teams and external partners, to both scientific and non-scientific stakeholders, to ensure seamless alignment and foster a collaborative and innovative research environment.
6. Prepare and deliver clear and compelling presentations at internal meetings, scientificconferences, and regulatory interactions.
Qualifications:
1. PhD in Immunology, Oncology, Cell Biology or relevant biomedical field, 2+ years of post-PhD experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environment, ideally focusing on cell therapy for solid tumor or autoimmune diseases.
2. Experience in leading translational programs to IND and clinical stages.
3. Hands-on experience in multiplex FACS and expertise in handling complex data is desirable.
4. Knowledge of various biomarker platforms (e.g. IHC, NGS, ddPCR, etc.) and their clinical practices.
5. Demonstrated problem-solving skills in addressing challenges in a research and/or clinical context.
6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
