Chassis Design Engineer

A brief summary of the provided position as below ：

• We are seeking an experienced chassis design engineer to join our R&D chassis team to deliver design development of chassis system parts, and deliver the design solution to production in time with good quality

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Overall design responsibility for chassis components of cab tilting system and common chassis structure system

• Lead the technical solution development for the responsible chassis system/parts to meet vehicle development milestone requirement

• Design verification plan development for responsible chassis system/ parts, overall coordinate related prototypes making, to ensure bench testing and vehicle level testing implementation.

• Efficiently collaborate with functional parters from purchasing and SQE/ MFG to complete the PPAP in time.

• Leading the root cause analysis for the technical issues from development phase/ manufacture plant/ field quality. Develop the technical solution accordingly in time with good quality.

• As the design owner of the responsible chassis system/ parts, to well define and update the technical spec/ DFMEA and other related technical documentation.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in automobile engineering/ mechanical engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Over 5 years of experience as design engineer in auto industry on chassis related. Heavy truck experience preferred,

• Good English skill in reading and speaking.

• Knowledge in DV/PV process and PPAP

• Skilled in the usage of design SW, especially CATIA.

• Good engineering knowledge in design development for related chassis system/ parts.

• Skilled in GD&T for design drawing development & release.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good experience in the application of analysis tools, such as 8D, 6-sigma, fault tree, etc.

• Good communication skill and teamwork sense.

• Supplier technical management skills
