Supplier Shortage Manager

The department Shortage Management is looking for an experienced and committed team member who is interested in how Scania works with securing capacity and mitigating risks in our supply chain. You will work in the Supplier Delivery Management team. Delivery Management's assignment is to be the bridge between Procurement, suppliers and many other organisation at Scania as Logistics, Production but also our Market organisation. The aim is to ensure maximum capacity of parts and components towards all global production units in the short term. You report directly to the procurement department in Sweden. You will belong to one of three teams that work with shortage handling in Supply Chain. What will you do in this position?

As a Supplier Shortage Manager, you get engaged as soon as a supplier is identified with ongoing or potential capacity limitations, that might have consequences for Scania's production or spare parts. You focus on analyzing the cause of the problem and are often on location to initiate the necessary activities and follow up the implementations. You are their first point of contact and play a leading and coordinating role between all parties involved and the realization of the necessary actions.
