Cab Engineer

To be a global champion TRATON must have a presence in one of the world’s biggest commercial vehicle markets, i.e. China. For developed in China for China. Both products will be produced in Scania´s production plant, our 3rd production footprint. This ambition requires an R&D organization that can develop, maintain and further develop the product portfolio.

We are now looking for a Lidar mechanism & CAD engineer within the R&D organization.

Key Responsibilities

1.Design and development, with focus on Lidar mechanism parts.

2.Design of parts from Scratch in Catia

3.Oversee full development cycle from concept to mass production including simulation, prototype testing and production support.

4.Demonstrate vehicle-level integration expertise to ensure compatibility with electrical and mechanical components, and the integration of whole vehicle performance.

5.Drive technical innovation to improve performance (cost/ durability/lightweight)

Qualifications

1.BSc in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.

2.Eager to learn about Lidar related topics

3.Minimum 1 year Design experience on Exterior Plastic Part design including structure design and development

4.CAD modeling, Familiarity with CATIA is a must

5.Documentation management, change control, cross-functional collaboration, and regulatory compliance.

6.Have the knowledge on Plastic part structure design, Especially for strength reliability, vibration requirement.

7.Knowledge of IP requirements (Waterproof and dustproof)

8.Eager to learn about Lidar related topics

9.Fluency English is a must

10.International Experience: Comfortable working across cultures and geographies – especially Sweden, Germany, .Brazil and China
