No. GEN-MH-EIIMH-COW) Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Materials Handling Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties: • To perform hands-on operations of materials handling plant safely and efficiently in the Materials Handling Control Room • To ensure all operational and environmental requirements are controlled within limits during all phases of operations • To carry out routine checks, tests and other technical operations as required • To direct and supervise the workforce to operate the materials handling plant • To investigate, solve plant issues and handle emergency incidents • To perform shift duties Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 1 year’s work experience in materials handling plant operation, electrical, mechanical, marine or production engineering, or • Higher Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in materials handling plant operations, electrical, mechanical, marine or production engineering • Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written • Holder of a valid class 1 and 2 driving license an advantage Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Engineer III (Materials Handling).
