No. CS-M-MDMS-EIII-COW) Responsibilities: Reporting to the Meter Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties: • To assist in the design, development, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), including the Head-End System and Meter Data Management System • To support the cyber security, regulatory compliance and documentation requirements of AMI systems • To liaise with system vendors and internal stakeholders, including IT professionals on system issues, enhancements and data-related enquiries • To undertake technical assignments, including job planning, procurement of communication equipment, quality assurance, system evaluation and testing of metering-related hardware and software • To assist in the preparation of tender specifications, technical evaluations, recommendations, reports and other project documentation Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines, with qualifications leading to Corporate Membership of HKIE • A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience, preferably in smart metering systems, data management systems, systems integration and data analytics • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, leveraging workflow automation and data analytics solutions to improve productivity and operational efficiency • Knowledge of SQL, databases technologies, AMI or smart metering systems preferred • Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written Working Location: North Point Application: If you are interested in this position, please send your resume and the Application Form (in PDF format) to the Human Resources Division, The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd. at recruit@hkelectric.com.
