Assistant Engineer

No. TND-OP-AE-OP-COW ) Responsibilities: Reporting to the Chief Operations Engineer (Shift Operations) , the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities: • To provide round-the-clock operational services and restore supply to customers promptly and safely after supply interruption • To handle power system alarms and emergency service calls, repair faulty equipment efficiently, restore supply security promptly and carry out tests on high voltage apparatus in the distribution system • To assist Engineers in monitoring contractors to carry out trenching work, fitting work and transportation work and monitor their performance Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with qualifications leading to Corporate Member of HKIE • Grade A Registered Electrical Worker (REW) and holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 vehicle an advantage • Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written Working Location: North Point Application: If you are interested in this position, please send your resume and the Application Form (in PDF format) to the Senior Manager (Human Resources Services), The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd. at recruit@hkelectric.com.
