Senior Scientist-Principal Scientist, In Vitro Pharmacology

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drug Screening and Evaluation: Responsible for designing and conducting drug screening experiments, evaluating the biological activity, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of candidate drugs, providing scientific basis for drug development.

2. Mechanism Research: Focus on disease-related biology and target molecular mechanisms, carry out functional validation and signal pathway analysis, providing theoretical basis and experimental support for candidate drug optimization and target selection.

3. Experimental Design and Execution: Independently design experimental plans according to research objectives, ensuring the rationality and feasibility of experiments; strictly follow experimental operating procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.

4. Data Analysis and Report Writing: Use statistical software to organize and analyze experimental data, write research reports and technical documents, clearly explaining research results and their significance.

5. Team Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-departmental teams, participate in project discussions, share research results, and jointly promote project progress; maintain academic exchanges with domestic and international peers, and keep track of the latest developments in the field.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. PhD in cell/molecular biology or immunology and >2 years of relevant experience in an industry setting or MS in the same field with > 5 years of industrial experience.

2. Familiar with in vitro pharmacology and efficacy research methods in new drug development (tumor cell culture, primary cell culture, cell proliferation, apoptosis, cytokine release, multicolor flow cytometry, ADCC, CDC, ADCP, ELISA, ELISPOT, etc.) and able to independently perform the above experiments to complete assigned experimental projects;

3. Have a good understanding of therapeutic macromolecules, including monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, etc., and be familiar with relevant regulations, guidelines, and technical manuals for new drug development.

4. Excellent laboratory, record-keeping, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.

5. Ability to plan, execute, and troubleshoot experiments.

6. Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and to work successfully in a cross-functional and highly collaborative team environment.

7. The ability of fluent in English communication is desired.
