Seeking an accomplished scientist with a strong background in oligonucleotide and pharmaceutical chemistry, and deep expertise in siRNA design, chemical modification, conjugation technologies, and delivery platform innovation. The candidate should have a proven track record in developing proprietary siRNA platforms for cardiometabolic drug discovery, with experience targeting both hepatic and extrahepatic tissues.
The ideal candidate will bring substantial hands-on experience in advancing RNA therapeutic programs from discovery through candidate nomination, including leadership of cross-functional internal teams, external partnerships, project timelines, and key development milestones. A demonstrated ability to integrate scientific excellence with strategic execution is essential.
Key Qualifications
PhD or equivalent advanced training in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, oligonucleotide therapeutics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience within leading siRNA or RNA therapeutics biotechnology companies.
Deep expertise in siRNA chemistry, design, optimization, and platform development.
Strong experience developing proprietary technologies for liver and extrahepatic delivery of RNA therapeutics.
Hands-on knowledge of GalNAc conjugation and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery systems.
Proven experience driving discovery programs through effective management of internal and external collaborations.
Preferred expertise in emerging modalities and targeted delivery approaches, including:
Gene silencing and gene modulation technologies
Antibody-Oligonucleotide Conjugates (AOCs)
Antibody-Payload/Peptide Conjugates (APCs)
Other next-generation targeted delivery platforms
