We are looking for a SMID Research Associate to support senior analysts in delivering high-quality, differentiated research to institutional clients.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including forecasts and scenario analysis, to support stock coverage
• Perform fundamental analysis, including earnings drivers, regulatory frameworks, and sector-specific dynamics across different value chains within China’s SMID sector
• Produce high-quality research reports, notes, and thematic pieces with clear investment recommendations (Buy/Sell/Hold)
• Generate differentiated investment insights by combining industry knowledge with valuation frameworks (DCF, multiples, sum-of-the-parts, etc.)
• Monitor sector developments, including high-frequency industrial data, technological developments and policy changes to identify investment opportunities
• Engage with corporate management, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to enhance research perspectives
• Support client interactions by preparing materials and responding to investor inquiries
