Associate Full-stack Software Engineer

Position Responsibilities:

Build high-quality delivery and comply with specifications and standards

Ensure system security by applying established best practices for authentication, authorization, encryption, and threat mitigation

Adopt agile principles and actively participate in sprints and ceremonies

Understand user requirements and translate into software requirements

Design, develop, test, deliver, maintain and improve business applications as a member of a team, works across full-stack through entire software development lifecycle

Complete all necessary technical documentation for deployment, maintenance and business needs

Provide production support during non-office hours as required

Required Qualifications:

University Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience

1 to 3 years of solid software development experience; fresh graduates will also be considered

Familiar with agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features

Good DevOps and API skills, with experience in technologies such as Java, React, RabbitMQ, Azure DB, Polar DB, SQL

Hands-on experience with Cloud platform such as Azure, Alibaba

Willingness to experiment with emerging technologies and understanding how they may impact future development

Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with team members, participate in code reviews, share knowledge, skills and best practices

Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes

Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus
