Join Siemens Energy and help design transformer solutions that power a more reliable and sustainable energy future. You will apply your mechanical engineering expertise to develop and optimize transformer components and assemblies, translating customer requirements and engineering calculations into robust, manufacturable designs. Using Siemens Energy's global design tools and proprietary automation solutions, you will create cost-effective designs that meet international standards while supporting innovation, quality, and operational excellence. Working closely with customers, engineering teams, and manufacturing colleagues, you will play a key role in bringing transformer products from concept through production.

How You'll Make an Impact

You will develop transformer mechanical designs based on order requirements, electrical calculations, risk assessments, and global transformer design standards, ensuring on-time project delivery.

You will design and optimize key transformer components and assemblies, including core structures, windings, leads, tanks, final assemblies, and secondary systems, balancing performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost.

You will collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams during design reviews to ensure technical compliance with customer specifications and applicable Chinese and international standards.

You will drive continuous improvement by identifying cost-out opportunities, applying new technologies, and supporting product innovation initiatives.

You will provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure successful fabrication, assembly, and delivery.

What You Bring

You hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.

You have at least 3 years of experience in transformer mechanical design, including hands-on responsibility for transformer structural design. Transformer experience is a mandatory requirement.

You have experience designing transformer assemblies and components, including main layout, core, windings, winding assemblies, leads, tanks, final assembly, and secondary systems such as diagrams and control cabinets.

You are experienced in preparing customer-facing engineering documentation, including preliminary outline drawings and technical design packages.

You have strong collaboration skills and can effectively work with customers, engineering specialists, and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable products.

You are fluent in English and Mandarin communication.
