Arch. & Functional Safety Engineering (Safety Analysis Engineer)

key task:

As Core FMEA team moderator, conduct DFMEA (Design FMEA) covering autonomous driving domain controllers, cameras, radars, drive-by-wire systems, algorithms and software integration. Identify failure modes, analyze root causes and consequences, score Severity-Occurrence-Detection, prioritize RPN risks and complete full-cycle FMEA documentation.

Conduct STPA (Systems-Theoretic Process Analysis) for L2-L4 autonomous driving functions in accordance with ISO21448. Identify potential misuse cases and drive corrective actions to ensure safety in ADAS system.

Compile and maintain FMEA reports and safety documents to meet ISO 26262 and internal quality system requirements. Prepare related documentation for homologation and MIIT according to ADAS GB, support internal and third-party audits.

Conduct failure handling strategy (degradation concept). Identify failure case and align failure mechanisms with system team and supplier.

As expert, support FUSA/SOTIF team to conduct safety analysis, and safety concept. Ensure ADAS/ADS safety concept is correct and complete.

Qualification:

Bachelor degree or above in Electrochemistry, automotive, electrical& electronics, or respective field

5 years of professional working experience. Experience in vehicle development in automotive industry or related field is required.

Familiar with FMEA and STPA methodology

Excellent knowledge of Functional Safety standards and ISO 26262

Excellent technical knowledge about engineering process

Excellent analytical, logical and problem-solving skills
