Architecture Strategy Lead

key task:

Steer the development and implementation of architecture technology concept solutions for CEA projects, including 3.X and future projects, to establish a comprehensive and robust know-how database.

Lead in-depth research and analysis on new & trending technologies in architecture aspect, including but not limited to topology, network, power distribution, OTA, safety & security, OBD, ZCU/DCU, chips, powertrain, chassis, AI and design practices.

Steer and analyze market intelligence to identify new opportunities and risks, and conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses. Provide regular, high-impact deliverables and strategic insights to the team and stakeholders.

Lead the technology screening process with joint ventures, collecting and analyzing their best practices and technology requirements to ensure alignment with the new project strategy.

Establish and steer technology adoption strategies that align with the company's objectives. Ensure that the proposed technologies are feasible, scalable, and cost-effective.

Lead and oversee the evaluation of potential technology vendors and partners. Establish and maintain close relationships with key suppliers and technology providers to ensure access to the latest and most advanced technology and solutions.

Lead and manage pre-development projects and proof of concepts to test and validate new technologies. Document findings and provide professional lessons learnt and direction for series projects.

Steer cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, project managers, and product managers, etc, to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and sharing the same understanding and goals

Guide and direct the overall electrical and electronic architecture design for new projects, ensuring that the architecture meets functional, performance, and safety requirements.

Steer the directional approved technology implemented in defined projects. Lead and ensure the key milestone of architecture concept delivery

Qualification:

University Studies: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electric & Electronic Engineering (e.g. Bachelor or Dipl.-Ing. degree)

Long-standing experiences (> 10y) in Automotive electronic, architecture, E/E component development.

Working experience in VW Group or related supplier / consulter is a plus.

• Excellent project management knowledge (steering / Leading and problem solving)

• Broad knowledge and well-founded technical understanding in EEA related areas, especially architecture, ZCU, powertrain and chassis

• Professional team player and communication skills

• Good conflict solving skills

• Broad knowledge in finance, budget, especially in cost-effective area

• Fluent business language skills in English (written and oral) mandatory. German is a plus
