Senior Scientist, Discovery Research (Gene Editing, A.I. & OMICs)
Responsibilities:
1. Lead,design,and execute experiments aimed at developing next-generation genome editing strategies using CRISPR-based tools and ,A.I. computational tools.
2. Design and optimize editor proteins or other editing enzymes for genome editing experiments in human cells.
3. Apply various A.I. tools and or genome editing tools at different stages of CAR-T discovery and development.
4. Apply advanced OMICs tools for target identification and validation.
5. Lead from the lab to advance novel and differentiated cell therapy products toward clinical milestones,by working collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
6. Contribute creatively to seed innovation projects through literature review and shape execution tactics.
7. Recommends changes to project direction based on an understanding of current literature and in-house experimental data.
8. Accurately capture data in a timely manner,ensuring data integrity and protocol compliance.
Qualifications:
1. PhD in molecular biology,biochemistry,synthetic biology, computational biology or a related field.
2. Extensive experience in the development and implementation of advanced genetic tools - such as genome editing,CRISPR systems,transposons and DNA assembly - with particular emphasis on the challenges associated with applying these tools in mammalian cells.
3. Experience with OMICs, A.I. for protein engineering, or NGS datasets,characterization and optimization of CRISPR systems or other technologies.
4. Good coordination and communication skills are required. Highly organized and efficient,able to work independently.
5. Strong problem-solving skill is preferred.
6. Ability to coordinate parallel tasks across multiple projects,demonstrating prioritization.
