Role Overview
Lead technical strategy, architecture evolution, and key project delivery for Marketplace Seller across global markets. Translate business goals into scalable solutions, align cross-functional teams, and drive results.
Responsibilities
Set technical direction and roadmaps for Seller Onboarding, Seller Operations and Governance, Seller Center, and Open Platform.
Lead architecture design and evolution for critical systems, addressing scalability, availability, data consistency, performance, and security.
Drive complex cross-team and cross-market initiatives from problem definition through delivery, managing decisions, dependencies, and risks.
Align technical investments with business value and strengthen engineering quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Advance AI-native engineering and deliver high-value AI/LLM solutions, with appropriate quality and security safeguards.
Mentor engineers and promote technical standards, reuse, and collaboration across teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field, with 6+ years of backend, platform, or distributed systems experience; proven experience leading architecture or complex projects.
Strong system design skills and hands-on knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, databases, caching, messaging, and high availability.
Able to connect technical decisions to business goals and drive alignment and delivery across teams.
Familiar with Go, Java, or Python and technologies such as MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Strong professional English; able to lead meetings, communicate technical decisions, and collaborate daily with global teams.
Strong ownership, communication, execution, and mentoring skills. AI engineering experience is a plus; experience in e-commerce, transaction platforms, or other complex systems is preferred.
