Job Description
Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day loan operations, including loan documentation, drawdown processing, interest, fees and repayment records
Prepare loan agreements and coordinate documentation with borrowers, guarantors and relevant parties
Review borrower information and supporting documents in relation to KYC / KYB processes
Prepare drawdown notices and check requests against approved credit limits, available balances and advance rates
Coordinate with Finance on loan disbursement and payment confirmation
Calculate and cross-check interest and repayment schedules, monitor due dates and follow up on repayments
Act as a day-to-day contact for existing borrowers, handling enquiries, outstanding documents, drawdowns and repayments
Prepare monthly borrower statements and reconcile balances against loan records
Maintain accurate loan records and support portfolio and management reporting
Support the rollout and testing of the company's digital lending platform and other ad-hoc operational projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
2-3 years' experience in loan operations, commercial banking operations, trade finance, credit administration or fintech customer servicing
Good numerical ability with experience in interest calculations and reconciliation
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and lookups
Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin, with good written English and Chinese
Detail-minded, organised and able to manage multiple customers and deadlines
Candidates available at short notice are preferred
Advantageous
Experience in SME lending or licensed money lending in Hong Kong
Exposure to trade finance documents, including purchase orders, invoices and shipping documents
Basic understanding of KYC, KYB and AML requirements
