Quantity Surveyor

Job Descriptions:
❖Critically review and redline supplier shop drawings for high-end joinery, structural integrity,
custom lighting integration, and alignment with luxury design intent
❖Conduct bare finish and First-of-Type reviews to establish establish flawless quality
benchmarks before mass production
❖Perform pre-qualification and periodic audits of supplier facilities; coach Supplier Quality
Engineers on inspection techniques, material science, and negotiation strategies
❖Partner with Design and Procurement to mitigate risks early; drive root cause analysis and rapid
corrective actions for defects, finish inconsistencies, or transit damages to protect project
timelines
❖Ensure all FF&E complies with ultra-luxury brand standards and durability metrics, collaborating
with Hotel Operations for a seamless, defect-free handover of rooms and public areas
Position Requirements:
❖Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Quality Management or related field
❖10 or more years related working experience with 5 years in managerial level
❖Exceptional coaching and interpersonal skills with a proven track record in leading and
mentoring remote quality assurance teams; fluent in English, proficiency in Chinese is preferred
❖Mastery in premium furniture construction (bespoke joinery, specialized metalwork, stone
integration, high-end upholstery) and advanced finishing processes (lacquer, plating, veneering,
powder coating)
❖Flexibility and willingness to travel regionally and internationally for on-site product inspections
and factory audits
❖Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
