Job Summary /岗位综述
Implement and accomplish the projects from R&D or businesses.
Investigate and develop new characterization capabilities to provide solutions to meet customer needs.
Principal Accountabilities /主要职责
1. EHS&5S:
Actively participate in EHS & 5S activity. No TF1 and TF2 events and ensure safety and security in the workplace; Guide the activity of technicians on daily EHS and 5S activities.
2. Responsible for projects:
a/ Take charge of R&D projects directly as asked for;
b/assure the project progress with good planning and tracking, make deliverable in time with quality;
c/ Propose and develop internal project based on both customer needs and scientific interests; d/others project related
3. Materials Characterization:
a/ Manipulate various analytical instruments to get reliable data;
b/ Develop test methods to meet any need from customers and projects and update corresponding SOPs timely;
c/ Guide technicians to generate technical reports to customer;
d/ Ensure correct interpretation of the test results with clear explanations understood by any customer.
e/ Make a good work plan to improve efficiency continuously. Ensure technicians follow it;
f/ develop contacts with and leverage resources of external laboratories or universities;
g/ Participate conferences, symposiums, of technical interest for our innovation hub Asia.
h/ Read papers, patents, books, in relation with our interests;
i/ Strictly follow the guidance of ISO 17025, Ensure the good practice implementation in the daily lab work; j/ other materials characterization related
Qualifications/ 任职要求
1. Ph.D or Master, major in Materials Science & Engineering, or Polymer chemistry, or Polymer physics.
2. Project management experience preferred.
3. Proficiency in multiple characterization or sample preparation techniques preferred.
4. Familiarity with rheological characterization methods preferred
5. New product development experience preferred.
6. Proficient written and reading in English.
