Software Architecture, Escalator Control System

Responsibilities and key activities:

Own and evolve the software architecture for next-generation escalator control systems, covering embedded real-time control, functional safety, and IoT connectivity

Lead architectural decisions across multiple MCU and Linux-based boards, defining system interfaces and communication protocols

Drive cybersecurity and functional safety architecture aligned with IEC 62443 and IEC 61508

Establish architectural standards, coding guidelines, and design patterns for the embedded SW team

Collaborate with global architecture community to align local design with company-wide platform direction

Mentor team members on architectural principles and conduct design reviews

We expect you to have:

Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field

Minimum 10 years in embedded software development, with at least 5 years in a software architect or senior technical leadership role

Deep expertise in embedded real-time systems: RTOS, bare-metal firmware, and Linux-based platforms (Yocto/Buildroot)

Proven experience with safety-critical systems (IEC 61508, ISO 26262, or equivalent) and cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443)

Expert knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, RS485, Modbus, MQTT, TLS

Excellent English communication skills. Chinese native speaker preferred. Experience in elevator, railway, automotive, or similar industries is a strong plus..
