Requirements:
University graduate in any discipline;
Strong spoken and written Chinese and English;
Possession of a valid driving licence;
Recognised safety qualification is preferred;
At least 10 years of relevant working experience in accident/incident investigation and liability assessment, of which 7 years at supervisory level;
Strategic and independent mind with an ability to cooperate with a range of stakeholders; and
Strong leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage road risk and liability assessment including;
Arrange traffic accident investigation and complete liability assessment within required timeframe
Monitor the quality and standard of accident investigation and liability assessment
Analyse traffic accident trends and develop and initiate strategies to address causation factors
Monitor the workflow and maintain accurate investigation data and records
Monitor franchised bus accident data and preparation of detailed traffic accident data for submission to government departments;
Monitor the handling of traffic accident appeal cases, review liability based on all available evidence and present findings to the Appeal Board;
Manage Occupational Health and Safety including;
Overseeing accident and incident investigations in collaboration with other stakeholders
Ensuring accurate and timely submission of Health and Safety reporting to other government departments to comply with legal requirements
Analyse OSH incident trends and develop and initiate strategies to address causation factors
Ensure that the company complies with best OSH practices and legal or regulatory requirements
Execute safety strategies and monitor safety plans to maintain consistently high safety performance across the Company; and
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
