Responsibilities
International corporate MBA Overview – Summer Intern (Marketing, Finance, Tech)
International markets represent significant growth opportunities for the pharmaceutical industry and for Lilly. One key element of our strategy is to grow our international business and as a result, we need talented individuals from highly ranked business schools to be part of our leadership team.
Lilly is seeking candidates who are committed to an initial assignment in their country of origin, which provides the foundational platform to learn the industry and understand our customers (patients, payers, and providers). MBAs will leverage and develop their leadership skills in their home affiliate as part of a global culture dedicated to employee development.
Basic Qualifications
Requirements:
Enrolled in an MBA program
Graduate by August 2028
Authorized to take internship job in China
Internship Period:
Mid of Jun, 2027 to end of Aug, 2027 (10 weeks)
Additional Skills/Preferences
Demonstrated leadership
Previous pharmaceutical or healthcare experience is a plus
Commercialization experience
Strong problem solving skills
Teamwork and collaboration abilities
Strong resilience
Flexibility and adaptability
Strong leaning agility
Language fluency for country of work authorization
Language fluency in Mandarin & English (both written and verbal)
Recruitment Timeline:
The application and interview process will be proceeded on a rolling basis and might be different based on schools' policies. For MBAs from US business schools, the application and interview process will be between Oct and mid Jan 2027. For MBAs from European and Chinese business schools, the application process will start in Jan 2027 and be proceeded between Feb and April.
