Business Design and Capabilities Associate

Gather and analyse business requirements to design and develop technical solutions with fast turnaround times. Build, test, and deploy applications and tools that support Risk & Compliance 2LOD activities. Standardise and automate common capabilities to deliver efficiency, scalability, and consistency. Collaborate with IT, financial engineering, and operational risk teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and internal standards. Maintain strong governance and documentation standards, ensuring compliance with internal controls, audit, and risk policies. Support the conversion of EUC solutions into enterprise-grade applications, ensuring control, resilience, and efficiency. 5+ years' experience in software/application development in a large corporate or regulated environment. Proven expertise in rapid prototyping and tactical tool development; proficiency in Python is required. Familiarity with regulatory and supervisory expectations for risk and compliance processes, data quality, and model governance. Strong understanding of Risk & Compliance processes, preferably within financial services. Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
