Assistant Manager Derivatives and Collateral Operation

Ensure the successful processing of daily margin payments, & that all FIM, Audit and regulatory controls and requirements are met at all times. Ensure that we know and understand the business, organisation structure and contacts of all our clearing clients & internal clients. Ensure that we act as an effective point of contact for our clearing and collateral clients on any transaction, account, margin static or market / product related query. Ensure that client queries are handled in a professional manner by acknowledging, owning to resolution and demonstrating turnaround in line with what has been agreed. Implement a strong client profiling process. Provide support & share knowledge on markets, products, procedures and core operating platforms for team-members. Ensure that you subscribe to formal objectives & personal development program with your manager. Ensure that you actively seek regular 1:1 meetings and commit to written minutes and follow-up actions. Participate actively to teamwork & leadership training & initiatives provided by the Bank. Participate readily in operations and business related projects. Ensure that daily controls & checklists are completed accurately and on a timely manner, providing appropriate policing and enforcement within the team. The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of: Global Markets products Margin and Collateral Clients and operational processing risk HSBC FIM and risk requirements around generic practices
