Technical Project Management CMP

Brief description of the position:

Responsible for the technical project steering of the Compact Main Platform (CMP21) included the related Hut projects within VCTC-R&D. The position holder is in charge of overall steering of hat and platform development activities of R&D scope to ensure the project on track and R&D delivery on time, including not limited to development scope, budget management, timeline, quality and risk.

Key Tasks:

As technical project lead within R&D, responsible for overall technical project steering based on PEP to ensure project on track, R&D delivery on time and other aligned project tasks.

Responsible for development scope management based on milestones and trigger related impact analysis of delta scope, including cost, timeline, resources.

sponsible for project development cost & budget management and optimization to ensure positive project KPE and development activities on track.

Responsible for project timeline management to ensure R&D deliveries on time. Identify open points and align counter measures to close the timeline gap.

Responsible for project risk management. Identify risks, evaluate the risk impact, align strategy and counter measures and review it regularly.

Responsible for project change management, including impact evaluation and decision at proper committes.

Ensure good cooperation, communication and satisfaction of not only project team members but also other stake holders.

Ensure proper escalation and communication of project open points and close them on time.

Support other business unit to fulfill the project target, including MEK optimization, quality improvement.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

Education:

Bachelor degree or above, science and engineering background including vehicle engineering, thermal power, mechanical, electronics, automation and other related majors from 985/211 universities

Knowledge, skills and others:

Familiar with automotive development process, profession knowledges, VW group experience/knowledge as a plus.

Familiar with project management process and skills, PMP certification as a plus.

Excellent communication skills and team spirit.

Strong sense of ownership, execution, commitment, team work and self-motivation.

Fluent in Chinese and English (written/spoken); German as a plus.
