We are on the lookout for a Project Manager to join our Operations Team. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of Projects, by directing and driving the project methodology and leading a team of project manager across the organization.
Responsibilities for this role will include:
Ensure projects meet schedule and financial objectives
Lead, Coach and assist project managers in understanding and executing the project lifecycle
Develop the necessary quality gates for successful project execution
Working collaboratively with the leaderships team in developing the maturity and visibility of the progress of projects/programs underpinning the strategy
Ensuring that a clear understanding of projects’ progress, plans, risk and status is regularly, clearly and accurately reported, identifying and resolving conflicts wherever they arise
Effective engagement and communication with a wide range of stakeholders, across Arm China, partners and suppliers.
Essential skills and experience required:
7+ years of proven success as Project Manager in a Semiconductor industry leading state-of-art SOC or IP developments
5+ years Leadership experience in multiple functional areas
Excellent ability to lead project teams of various sizes and lead them through to completion
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong collaboration and team-building skills
Strong cross-cultural competencies
Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
Expert application of PM techniques and methodology
Budget management experience required
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
PMO background at a senior level, with experience of running an enterprise PMO or Program Management Office with full lifecycle experience
Desirable skills and experience:
You will have an engineering background or experience in a technical role in a hardware and/or software development context.
You will have strong Project management skills and have a qualification from a recognised professional body such as Prince2, APM, PMP, etc.
You will be leading geographically diverse teams with multifaceted strengths.
You will have a working knowledge of project management and collaboration toolsets such as Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint and Jira.
To excel in this position you will have the following:
A good understanding of IC (including IC design and verification) development lifecycles/delivery.
You are encouraged to be self-starting, creative, dynamic and flexible with excellent interpersonal skills and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Due to the nature of the work it is important that you want to succeed in a highly technical, goal / deadline orientated product development environment.
You have excellent verbal and written English skills as there is frequent interaction with other members of the development team locally and in other parts of the world.
