Architecture Modeling Engineer

As an Architecture Modeling Engineer, you will be responsible for architecture modeling and exploration for NPU IP.

Your responsibilities will be related, but not limited to:

• Develop function model, architecture model, and performance model for NPU IP.

• Conduct performance profiling and analysis for architecture exploration and quantitative evaluation.

• Collaborate closely with software and hardware team on performance evaluation, performance optimization, software test and hardware simulation.

• Support AE & Product team for customer requirement

• Perform competitive product analysis and architecture research

Skills and Experience:

• 4–10 years of professional experience in design verification, architecture modeling, or processor modeling

• Solid understanding of CPU / DSP / AI accelerator architecture and micro-architecture, including memory hierarchy and bus infrastructure

• Hands-on experience in developing processor reference models or architecture models

• Familiarity with typical AI operators in CNN, LLM and other mainstream networks

• Proficiency in C++/SystemC

• Skilled in scripting languages such as Python.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
