Brief description of the position:
The position ensures following objectives under Context of ADAS Driving function:
Propose, align and finalize the implementation with function and component experts
Plan, manage and document the milestones and progresses of local ADAS development and calibration
Collaborate with the suppliers and partners (JVs & WOB) in terms of development, vehicle integration and release
Key Tasks:
Investigate and analyze the specific situation / requirement for market China, especially for the system limitation and corner case
Design and define the system and solution in order to fulfill the function requirement
Plan and facilitate the necessary resources (cars, test facilities) and implementation activities. Take dependencies of partner systems into consideration
Plan and manage the development milestones, monitor and document the progress, regular status report
Coordinate development with other JVs incl. Release Management
Coordinate with the other BUs, parties regarding ADAS / HAD relevant topics
System level competitor investigation, national standard analysis
Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor due to work requests
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education:
Bachelor or Master degree in automotive / electrical / computing or similar
Working experience:
• 3+ years of automotive system development experience
• Well-founded technical knowledge of ADAS / HAD system solution and development
• Deep understanding of the software architecture and development
Knowledge, skills and others:
• Highly structured, analytical and self-organized, -motivated
• Excellent capabilities in communication and team work
• Strong ability in problem solving, availability of multiple tasks
• Experience of studying / working abroad as a plus
• Excellent language skills in English (written and verbal) mandatory
• Chinese language skills
• German language skills as a plus
