Responsibilities:
Review all legal documents in relation to the formation and distribution of our products (authorized funds, private funds, alternative investment funds, ETF, discretionary account management and etc.).
Draft/ review/ negotiate standard agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, distribution agreements, investment management agreements, investment advisory agreements and other commercial agreements relating to the operation of the Company or its investments.
Provide legal advice on regulatory matters, including regulatory requirements issued by the regulators.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders for various projects and deals and liaise with external counsel.
Assist with the drafting or review of internal policies and procedures.
Handle secretarial work and administrative task.
Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with 5 years’ of PQE or more.
Previous experience in asset management firm or international law firm is preferred.
Good team player with first-rate analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and proactive.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Mandarin is an advantage.
Good organization skills and attention to details.
