Main Purpose of Job
Lead the Demand and Supply Planning team in the effective application of Best Practice and efficient processes, to ensure that finished
goods are available meet Customer demand, at the right stock location and with high Freshness, whilst minimizing Cost.
Key Outputs:
Encourage a mindset of Customer Service orientation into the DSP team/ organization
Ensure that at a strategic level, it is aligned with the priorities and activities of the business and other functions basis inventory and portfolio optimisation
At the Operational level contribute to business success by ensuring stock availability at optimum costs to meet the Customer Service target.
Effective management of change by ensuring the implemention of Key processes across stakeholders.The role actively contributes to and influences business initiatives e.g. FreshNes and Route to Market
Analyze and communicate relevant information to Senior Management by sharing the KPIs; highlighting performance gaps; detailing the impact of proposed actions and trade offs; ensures actions are realistic and achievable
Increased 'Speed to Market' through effective coordination of Innovation & Renovation execution. Manage the critical paths leading to improved adherence to timelines.The role also involves challenging procurement and distrbution lead times & manufacturing efficiencies.
Influence the whole D&SP team performance by challenging the workflow of the Demand and Supply Planning process
Usage of Globe Template's APO modules (APO DP/SNP/PPDS).
And ensure best practices reinforced and implemented.
Key Experiences:
Five or more years of relevant operational experience at market / business level is useful, in at least one of the following areas:
- Demand & Supply Planning
- Project Management in the area of DSP
Desirable to have had experience implementing LEAN concepts and tools.
