康宁公司的显示科技事业部生产主要应用于LCD电视、笔记本电脑和平板显示器的有源矩阵液晶显示器（“LCD”）玻璃基板。

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day problem-solving support to production

• Participating as a team member on assigned engineering projects

• Support manufacturing process improvement and optimization

• Provide trouble shoots to process, equipment issues and life management, identifies root cause and corrective actions

• Support technology transfer and manufacturing process improvements, including equipment installation, process optimization, and documentation.

• Analyze engineering and production data to support process improvement activities and experiments.

• Support digital manufacturing and automation-related improvement projects.

• Support equipment maintenance/recovery activities and post-maintenance performance ramp-up.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree above, major in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other engineering related

• 2 years’ work experience or above

• Process engineering skills (quantitative skills, coursework in engineering statistics or other statistical training)

• Familiar with design of experiment concept and methodology

Required Skills

• Good project management skills

• Logical thinking to deal with complex problems in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

• Good English comprehension in listening, spoken, writing and reading.

• Ability to utilize computer programs and Statistic skills for data analysis and modeling

• Experience in implementing DMAIC methodology or leading 6-sigma project

• Ability to work effectively with cross function team members

• Good communication skills

• Good presentation skill

Desired Skills

• Project management skill

• Understanding of equipment mechanical and control concept

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).

• Technical writing, ability to deliver technical presentations to operators, engineers and managers.

• Excel VBA/Power BI/Basic Python understanding

• Strong ownership of achieving plant goal

• Sense of urgency and creativity to handle project issues and adapt plan to meet objectives
