Summary
The main responsibilities include extractables and leachables (E&L) team management and SMEs training, platform capabilities expansion and business promotion, projects relevant technical support, client audit and cross-functions collaboration to ensure the successful application of the projects, etc.
Role & Responsibilities
The detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage E&L labs and a team of around 10 people and train newcomers as needed.
- Responsible for E&L projects proposals, execution timely and accuracy of delivery of study reports.
- Act as sponsor supporting E&L projects, solving problems encountered in the course of the project.
- Communicating with clients in a timely manner for technical communication and reporting,
- Responsible for E&L business advertising and new technologies promotion.
- Procurement and management of new equipment, reference standards, materials and consumables.
- Familiar with E&L-related multiple region regulations, like USP<1663>, USP<1664>, ICH and EMA guidelines.
- Complying with Quality System, EHS and Compliance requirements.
Qualification
Education
- M.S. Degree with 10+ years or Ph.D 5+ years of experience in technical field, better major in analytical chemistry, polymer materials, etc.
Experience
- Team management experience is needed.
- Minimum 3 years trace detection experience, Hands-on experience with GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-OES/MS, etc.
- Experience in E&L projects management is preferred.
Skills
- Strong skills in scientific inquiring and presentation.
- Fluent in English and good communication skills.
