Finance Director, Vaccine, Strategic Partnership and Pipeline

Role Purpose 职位目的：

The role is accountable for providing end-to-end financial leadership for GSK China's Vaccine business, strategic partnerships, pipeline portfolio, and retained finance activities. Drive financial planning, investment governance, pricing strategy, business performance, and partnership value realization while ensuring robust financial controls, operational excellence, and efficient service delivery. Partner with China leadership teams to enable high-quality decision-making, support future growth opportunities, and strengthen the financial foundation required to deliver GSK China's long-term business ambitions.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities 主要工作职责：

· Lead finance support for Vaccine, covering joint business planning, forecasting, performance management, commercial evaluations, and strategic decision support.

· Provide financial oversight for pricing, margin, supply, operational, and risk considerations associated with partnership agreements and pipeline investment decisions.

· Support pipeline planning across priority therapeutic areas, through robust financial analysis, scenario modelling, business case development, and investment governance.

· Drive disciplined financial governance, performance monitoring, and decision-quality insights to support GSK China’s growth ambitions and future launch portfolio.

· Lead financial planning activities across monthly forecasts, annual budgets, three-year plans, and long-range forecasts, ensuring alignment with business strategy and portfolio priorities.

· Lead pricing governance and pricing-related financial analysis, ensuring compliance with internal policies, external requirements, and profitability objectives.

· Partner with Business Unit Heads, China Leadership Team members, and Global Product Strategy teams to support strategic brand planning, portfolio decisions, and resource allocation.

· Own and strengthen the internal control framework, ensuring effective financial controls, compliance, risk management, and governance across partnerships and pipeline activities.

· Serve as the Retained Finance Services Lead, acting as the primary interface between the China business and Finance Services organization to ensure high-quality delivery of core finance processes, including accounting, month-end close, reporting, controls, and compliance activities.

· Drive continuous improvement in finance operations by overseeing service performance, resolving complex operational issues, managing governance forums, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), and identifying opportunities for process simplification, automation, and enhanced stakeholder experience.

Qualifications/Requirements: (Education / Experience / Competencies)

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA preferred.

Significant experience in commercial finance, business partnering, strategic planning, or pharmaceutical finance.

Demonstrated experience supporting complex partnerships, portfolio management, investment decisions, or product launches.

Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.

Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Experience in multinational pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences organizations preferred.
