Key Roles and Responsibilities
 Responsible for day to day chemical analysis of Traditional
Chinese Medicine raw and in-process materials, and
finished products;
 Handle inventory control of laboratory supplies;
 Assist in development, modification and validation of testing
method;
 Conduct calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory
instruments;
 Assist in generation and review of laboratory documents;
 Provide training to junior laboratory staff;
 Implement GMP requirements in daily operation.
Qualification and Experience
 Degree or above in Chemistry, Chinese Medicine or related
disciplines;
 Minimum 3 years’ experience in chemical testing preferably
in pharmaceutical products, herbal materials or food; less
experience will be considered as Quality Control Chemist or
Assistant Quality Control Chemist
 Knowledge in testing method development and validation is
an advantage;
 Familiar with instrumental analysis including GC-FID
and HPLC;
 Knowledge in GMP and ISO 17025 is preferred;
 Good command of spoken and written English and
Chinese;
 Proficient in Microsoft Office.
