EHS Expert_ HC

Job Summary

The EHS Expert provides operational support to the APAC EHS function by leading safety promotion programs, supporting EHS audits and inspections, updating EHS KPIs, and participating in incident investigations. This role contributes directly to maintaining a safe, compliant, and continuously improving work environment across Bosch APAC sites.

Key Responsibilities

Support the APAC EHS Head in ensuring comprehensive compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and corporate standards across the APAC region.

Coordinate ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification audits, CAP audits, and corporate EHS audits across APAC sites; provide technical guidance to close audit findings.

Lead or support investigations into workplace incidents and injuries, conduct root cause analyses and hazard assessments, and prepare materials for internal and external reporting.

Conduct or support site inspections to identify health and safety hazards; recommend, track, and verify implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Support the design and delivery of regional safety promotion programs—e.g., Machine Guarding, Electrical Safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Contractor Safety Management.

Serve as the Regional Electrical Safety Coordinator, partnering with OE-ES to strengthen electrical safety governance and practices.

Organize regional EHS meetings and maintain up-to-date EHS performance dashboards and KPIs.

Support emergency preparedness planning, drills, and documentation maintenance.

Provide administrative coordination for EHS reporting, data consolidation, and cross-site collaboration across APAC.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and relevant APAC EHS legislation.

Demonstrated experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone), and risk assessment methodologies.

Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultural and geographic contexts within APAC.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Business-level fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
