CST is dedicated sourcing team under Nestle global procurement, supporting category sourcing strategy and supplier development from China and other origins. CST serves in all categories like direct material, promotional items, technical materials and accessories. CST faces Nestle global market and business and provide wide view on China supply and bring strong value creation from sourcing and procurement.
As a China Sourcing Team (CST) Management Trainee at Nestlé, you will gain broad exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations. Through hands-on project experience, supplier engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, you will develop a strong understanding of global supply networks while building the capabilities needed for a future career in Procurement and Supply Chain.
What You Will Do
1. Build supplier and market intelligence expertise: Support the identification and mapping of direct and indirect materials suppliers across China, developing a comprehensive understanding of supplier capabilities, market dynamics, and sourcing opportunities.
2. Drive sourcing value creation initiatives: Analyze sourcing opportunities and total cost structure, identifying potential efficiencies and cost saving opportunities with new supplier for Nestle global markets.
3. Support regional and global sourcing projects: Contribute to sourcing initiatives across categories and key categories for various business, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver sourcing solutions aligned with business needs.
4. Strengthen supplier management and procurement capabilities: Participate in supplier management and technical sourcing projects, working closely with Procurement, Technical, and Business teams to support innovation, quality, and cost optimization objectives.
5. Contribute to procurement continuous improvement: Conduct supplier assessments and market research while supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, and continuous improvement programs across the procurement organization.

Requirements
1. Full-time graduates (2026 or 2027 graduates) with a bachelor's degree or above. Preferably majoring in Business, Economics, Quality Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
2. Strong learning agility and analytical thinking.
3. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
4. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
5. Willingness to pursue long-term career development at Nestlé and flexibility to work across different cities and locations when required.
