As an RD PIE/Device engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of advanced semiconductor technology nodes. This position encompasses defining transistor architecture and design building blocks, as well as creating a manufacturable process flow for thorough evaluation and iterative enhancements. The responsibility also includes designing and implementing test structures to assess device performance and identify process limitations. The ultimate objective is to deliver a high-performance, cost-effective semiconductor technology that meets strict requirements for power, performance, area-per-function, and manufacturing efficiency. Continuous improvement inline yield and addressing sort yield excursions are integral to the role.

1. Define transistor architecture and design building blocks for new technology nodes;
2. Optimize yield and device performance using analytical skills to enhance device outcomes and ensure excellent yield;
3. Design and implement test structures to assess device performance and identify process weaknesses;
4. Integrate devices across various process modules, including creating test keys, executing tape-outs, performing meticulous device analysis, conducting advanced simulations, and ensuring model integrity.
