Assistant Systems Manager (IS-ASM)

Duties
Lead the Hong Kong and Guangzhou teams in studying requirements, assessing feasibility, and conducting business process reengineering and information system strategy reviews
Drive improvements in operational efficiency across all company functions
Ensure seamless operation of computer systems and applications to minimize business disruption
Oversee the development and support of IT projects including analysis, design, development, testing and documentation
Maintain close collaboration with user departments to deliver high-quality IT services
Assist in planning and supporting new business initiatives
Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation within the team, including training and skill transfer to junior team members

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology or Information Management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role; telecommunications industry experience preferred
Proficient in RPA tools such as Microsoft Power Automate or UiPath, DevOps methodologies, and web application development frameworks including JavaScript, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, Ajax, and SQL
Experience in Web Service API and Microservices development (e.g., RESTful, SOAP)
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Oracle Financials, ServiceNow, and/or Salesforce is an advantage
Strong project management skills
Self-motivated, responsible, with excellent teamwork abilities
Good communications skill in both English and Chinese
7 x 24 on-call support is required
