Responsible for overall operation of the warehouse, determination of space requirements for storage, overall control and verification of the movement of materials / products being received/shipped both within and outside the Company.
Assist to review and evaluate new or existing procedure / guideline in relation to inventory management, warehousing and distribution of products/materials.
Assist to supervise and monitor daily work schedule of warehousing personnel.
Ensure the availability of stocks and coordinate with delivery personnel for the distribution of materials / products.
Responsible for regular stock checks and maintenance of inventory records so as to identify slow-moving and / or surplus stock, usage pattern, stock level and ordering strategy.
Assist to monitor subordinates to maintain a clean and pleasant working environment and ensure that all safety procedures are properly followed.
Assist to operate forklift truck in packing, picking, palletizing, stacking, loading & unloading products/materials onto / off the forklift truck and to / from the warehouse if necessary.
