职位描述
Responsibilities and activities for this position include the following:

Serve as Apple’s in-region thermal expert for passive devices by applying deep technical knowledge of system-level and module-level thermal design, testing, and validation.
Collaborate with in-region and US-based Thermal Engineers on technology evaluation, design investigation and process development for new passive products.
Drive and execute thermal testing at OEM and supplier factories, including data deduction and analysis, summarizing thermal findings, and delivering comprehensive assessments.
Manage technical engagements with thermal module and component vendors; evaluate emerging technologies and drive supplier roadmaps to meet Apple product requirements.
Take the leading role in suggesting or adopting ideas for improving productivity and quality of thermal solutions.
Provide in-region expertise for root cause and corrective action of system thermal failures and defective thermal parts/materials.
Train engineers at OEM and vendor factories to produce high quality products using well-defined specifications, advanced production processes and up-to-date validation tools and codes.

最低任职要求
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in Thermal design for passive devices, with a solid understanding of thermal systems/components and their manufacturing processes.
Direct, hands-on experience with thermal characterization equipment (e.g., DAQ, TCs/RTDs, IR thermography, DC power supplies, Thermal chambers).
Strong cross-functional communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to convey critical Thermal findings and bridge design teams, OEMs, and external vendor partners.
Solid domain expertise in passive Thermal solutions, specifically Graphite, Vapor Chamber (VC), and Thermal Interface Materials (TIM).

Frequent domestic travel is required.
Scripting proficiency (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (JMP, Tableau) is a plus.
Experience in Thermal CFD tools (Icepak, Flotherm, etc) is a plus.
